Andie Swim partnered with Hue to optimize its product detail pages (PDPs) during the brand’s high-traffic summer season—without risking performance. While the team had previously tested model videos and static UGC, they saw an opportunity to test whether integrating Hue’s shoppable video module on the PDP could drive meaningful results.

The A/B Test
Andie Swim ran a rigorous A/B test on their 3 most popular products: the Malibu One Piece, the Amalfi One Piece, and the Mykonos One Piece. The test ran over the course of one month, with the Hue video module placed higher on the page than in previous layouts.
The result? A clear win.
Pages with Shoppable UGC modules in the test group outperformed the control group without the Hue UGC Shoppable Video module.

Videos filmed in creators’ homes felt authentic and relatable—resonating more strongly with shoppers than polished studio content.
Size Medium Wins
The top-performing video featured a creator wearing size medium. This aligned with the brand’s top-selling size.
Content Reusability Across Colorways
Although the videos showcased the black colorway, styles like Navy and White saw the strongest performance—suggesting that for fashion brands, content can be effectively reused across color variants.
